文化多样性构成人类文明的基本现实，也是知识、意义、身份与创造力的重要来源。然而，承认文明多元并不能自动回答一个进一步的问题：不同文明是否只能永久并列存在，还是能够在长期交流、比较、实践检验与相互学习中形成新的共同结构？如果强调统一，理论容易滑向同化、霸权和文化消灭；如果把多元本身视为不可超越的最终状态，又可能把历史形成的文明边界固定化，忽视人类文明长期以来通过传播、借鉴、翻译、混合与再创造而不断变化的事实。
Cultural diversity is a basic reality of human civilization and an important source of knowledge, meaning, identity, and creativity. Yet acknowledging civilizational plurality does not answer a further question: must different civilizations remain permanently parallel, or can long-term contact, comparison, practical testing, and mutual learning generate new shared structures? If unity is overemphasized, theory can slide into assimilation, hegemony, and cultural erasure. If plurality itself is treated as an untouchable final state, however, historically contingent civilizational boundaries may become frozen, obscuring the fact that human civilizations have always changed through diffusion, borrowing, translation, hybridization, and re-creation.
