自由意志问题争论两千余年而无定论，根源在于两个概念混淆：“自由意志”与“自由行动”未被清晰区分，且认知对象的类型差异被忽视。本文不讨论形而上学意义上“自由意志是否存在”，而是将其转化为认知心理学层面的分析：自由不是“有/无”的二元属性，而是认知系统扩展可能性空间的能力，有程度差异、可测量、可训练。基于躯体标记假说、双系统理论和元认知研究，本文构建自由的四层结构模型：第一层为体感锁定的选择自由，想与做均受限；第二层为元认知的维度切换自由，目的被体感锁定但方法可无限探索；第三层为利害无关的创造自由，想的自由完全释放；第四层为价值筛选后的现实转化，想的自由收敛为做的自由。本文进一步阐明层级间转化的调节变量与心理机制，指出元认知的自由状态取决于“利害卷入度”这一连续变量。通过分层模型，本文将自由意志问题从形而上学“有/无”之争，转化为“在哪一层、面对什么对象、被什么限定、如何转化”的可分析问题

Abstract

The free-will problem has been debated for more than two thousand years without resolution, with its root in the confusion of two concepts: "free will" and "free action" are not clearly distinguished, and differences in the types of cognitive objects are ignored. This paper does not discuss whether "free will exists" in the metaphysical sense, but transforms the issue into a cognitive-psychological analysis: freedom is not a binary attribute of "has / has not," but the capacity of a cognitive system to expand its space of possibilities — varying in degree, measurable, and trainable. Building on the somatic marker hypothesis, dual-system theory, and metacognition research, the paper constructs a four-layer structural model of freedom: the first layer is choice freedom locked by bodily sensation, where both thinking and doing are constrained; the second layer is dimension-switching freedom of metacognition, where goals are locked by bodily sensation but means can be explored without limit; the third layer is creative freedom independent of interest and harm, where freedom of thought is fully released; the fourth layer is real-world transformation after value filtering, where freedom of thought converges into freedom of action. The paper further clarifies the moderating variables and psychological mechanisms of inter-layer transformation, pointing out that the free state of metacognition depends on the continuous variable of "degree of interest-involvement." Through the layered model, the paper transforms the free-will problem from a metaphysical "has / has not" dispute into an analyzable question of "at which layer, facing which object, constrained by what, and transforming through what."
